On to New York where I got another police escort. It seems that “parkways” in NY are old so the overpasses are lower than my RV. Had to get a guided reroute back to modern “expressways”.

Hutchinson River parkway, NY state trooper and county deputy and dispatchers had to argue over who was responsible to help me before the deputy led the way.

Both are cool places. I really like Willamsburg. check out Jamestown too, it's just down the Colonial Parkway and where white people in America started...and lived to tell about it.

He is south of there, but worth the couple hour trip back north if you can swing it Drakeslayer.

Spent the night at a rest area near Kitty Hawk, saw this monument to 100 years of flight. It was pretty cool then on South down the Outer Banks

Rhode a ferry from Hatteras to Ocracoke, then from Ocracoke to Swan quarter. On to South Carolina today

2 days at James Island then back north to Huntington Beach state park. Father in law booked the RV parks that way because he got mixed up on north and south.

Spent the last few days with my in-laws at Greenville SC. Helping my FIL build a pondless waterfall in his yard.

Went to Hall’s Chophouse for our 31st anniversary on Wednesday. Only pick I got was the wife chewing, ha ha

Thanksgiving with the in-laws is over and we’re rolling again. Spent the night in Asheville NC now on the way to Pigeon Forge.
