Plymouth rock was a big disappointment to me. They should call it Plymouth pebble. Nobody even identified it until 1740, then some son of a bitch she wasn’t even alive when the Pilgrims landed said yeah that’s the rock that’s the one they all stepped on, what a bunch of bullshit. My tinfoil hat says there was some political bullshit at work here. Plus that’s hardly a rock to be proud of, it’s not even big enough to fill up a mini truck bed. I was expecting something the size of a house based on what I learned in grade school, not somebody’s door stop.

Oh yeah we saw some poor fuckers dragging this thing out the launch ramp in Plymouth. They had the harbormaster helping them but obviously this trailer and boat has seen better days.

Dunno why this didnt show. Middle pic is great.
That was a huge Catholic Church in Boston, the Stainglass windows were really impressive. The whole church was gorgeous. Although I was raised Catholic I have a little trouble with these huge expenditures of money for these fantastically ornate churches. We art is very impressive though.

The schoolbooks mentions a rock but actually its a beach...

Imagine the disappointment of every little boy that grew up in Massachusetts for the last 400 years.

Back to Cape Cod.

Naucet beach lighthouse

The wife ordered an online tour that gives info as you drive based on gps location. When the tour guide told how Provincetown is basically gaytown she made this face. We took a selfie there anyway.

Tried to visit the Naval War College Museum in Newport. Met this guy who wasn’t happy we passed the “Pass Office” without stopping to get a pass. “The museum is closed Saturday and you’re not missing much, I’ve seen it.” He called his friend to escort us off the Station. Best tour available on a rainy Saturday as he took us all over the station to find room for us to turn due to the length of the coach and car combined.

I need to head back up that way. it has been 30 plus years since I have been to new England. looks like y'all are having a good trip.

Awesome.

Provincetown is actually a blast. Yes it's really gay, but once you get past that, it's just a big party. The gays can party.

It is looking like you are not going to make it down here while we still have warm weather.

I was really hoping to have your and your wife out in a Side by Side up in the Smoky Mountains.

Glad to see you all are having fun and seeing so much!

Keep it up dude, looks to be an awesome trip!
