Detroit locker part numbers

Anyone have any leads on older detroit locker part number. I have a 56588 locker laying around that was given to me. Trying to figure out what it is. It's 35 spline I know forsure.

Yeah. That's the last resort. Probably just measure the carrier break and see what dana axle it matches

D70, D70U or D70 HD? What spline count? Assuming 35.

Start on page 16 here and just skim down through the D70 options in the year/make you're interested in.....

They used to have an Excel spreadsheet with all the part numbers and interchanges available...I believe I have a copy on an old hard drive, I'll check when I get home.
