What's new

Dark twisted movies, looking for them

Man. About out of internets until the the 6th. Nice big list of films I haven't seen and I can't even watch the trailers right now :homer:

That's really one of the worst scenes in the movie but it's still a good flick.

It's the opening scene. I'm not here to give spoilers.

"Shut that Cee-U-Next-Tuesday's mouth before I fuckstart her head" is a classic and beautiful line. It's poetic.

Sarah Silverman is a gem for her two minutes....

Only movie I recall specifically watching on Mushrooms was an old Black and white one called Compulsion. Based on a true story. Kinda dark. Kinda blew my mind a little but I later realized it was the Mushrooms.

4 of us dosed up and went to see Big Trouble In Little China when it came out. Not dark at all but, we had a fucking blast:grinpimp:

What was that 80’s moving where they were stuck in a maze of cubes and each cube/room had traps that maimed them?

I barely remember it.

Insomnia (Pacino and Robin Williams)

Point of No Return (which is a remake/interpretation of the below)
La Femme Nikita

I remember the first time I saw that movie and thought to myself. They probably cast her because she’s annoying and guys would like to see her punched in the nose in real life. Good movie!

Cube.

Think there was 3 in the series all together.

Some of these have been mentioned,

But Human Centipede
Saw movies
Hostel

All those really mess with your view of what humans can do to other humans.

Checked out Midsommer and meh. Slow, boring, predictable, unrealistic, pointless, inconsistent.
No idea why it has over 4 stars with 29k votes on Prime.

'71 is a good chase trill type movie that many haven't heard of.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this but I think I liked the underlying tension in this one throughout.
