Posted this on Arfcom but everyone ignores everything I post over there so I'm putting it here for more ignoring. 😁
I bought a Chinese quad rail last year to try on a carbine to see if it was as cool as I thought it would be. It's a Monstrum tactical and it cost me $20.
I decided I like a quad rail, so I started looking for an American made quality one.
I decided on the Damage Industries and since I was in no hurry I waited for a sale.
Just hit the Memorial Day sale for free shipping and $80 for the quad rail (normally $129)
The Chinese quad weighs 12.16 ozs and is chonky in the hand.
The DI quad weighs 9.04 ozs and is very slim. Like the quad is narrower than the widest part of the upper receiver.
The DI is much nicer, fits very tight and even has anti rotation lugs that lock into the barrel nut.
Overall I am very happy with the DI quad rail.
DI is on the right.
Installed.
The slimness.
Ready to go.
