I wonder if they can just make me a new cover with the discount…. Their quote a few months back cost me more than I paid for the seat 3 years ago :lmao:

Not a Glitch, it works just like last time. We can't advertise the discounts, so you have to buy into the Group Buy to view the discounts and/or prices.

30% is the minimum discount we use look for before running a Group Buy, so you know they are at all at LEAST that.

I assume this is good for custom seats too or just the "pre-designed" seats?

I'd love to have a pair of Enduros in my TJ, but I really don't want to have a giant manufacturers logo embroidered on my head rest.

So... It looks like it cost $25 to join a group buy which will get me access to pricing? Most quotes Ives seen are 10% off or free shipping. Not sure 20% off would cover shipping... Wish pricing was more clear. Is the $25 for group buy only for PRP or is it for all future group buys?

The manufacturers we work with don’t always allow us to advertise the deal, so we don’t share it until you’ve committed to buying.

If you read the main thread on how group buys work, you’ll see that we never do group buys for less than 30% off. So you know it’s at least that before you buy in.

As far as how to place the actual order, it varies by group by. Some companies want us to place a bulk order at the end, some let us send in orders as they come in, and other others may do a combo of that. You have to read each group buys rules to figure out how that specific part works for each group buy.

Ok I re-read the original group buy thread I think I understand it. Please tell me if this is correct.
  • You are not allow to say the price, which is probably why there is a lack of information.
  • I need to pay 25 to access the group buy information and be able to make the purchase
  • The rules link I posted is really just saying; "hey we wont waste our time with group buys we offer unless they are this good"
 
Welp. I just paid my $25 so we'll figure out how it works. I have had custom seats I picked out a year ago but have been on hold due to quote/cost.

Not really about wasting time, it's to give you a base to math from. If that math isn't good enough as a minimum you know to skip this one.

Also, that $25 buy-in is applied to your order, we pocket nothing here.

Needed this group buy like 6-8 months ago :flipoff2:

I will throw out there that I love my seats, with a sweet discount I might have even spec'd out some extra add ons

The new heated and COOLED option was really tempting but out of my price range

Or an ~$800 discount would have been cool too

This is my purchase price back in April (Austin showing old pre-discount pricing is ok right?)

Anyone run PRP in a DD? Need to do something about the ones in the burb and its between re-foam and covers or should I spring for some fancy.
