I know if [486] was here he'd say there's no point in engaging these people, but it entertains me:laughing:

Listening to some pods right now and they are discussing one of the leftist arguments against the Make America Healthy Again agenda. Which is:
"food will cost more if its regulated more by the FDA"
Obviously a desperate point by the same party who advocates for illegal aliens coming to the country because we need someone getting paid slave wages to pick lettuce. But, much like the strategic tariffs that Trump employed during his first administration, the costs going up do have some basis in reality.

So, my response to the cost of food going up would be this: Any increase in food costs will be offset by a decrease in health and life insurance for the average person. Healthier people spend less money on these items.

What other strawman's are out there, and how would you respond? Besides throwing the commies out of helicopters:laughing:

Here you go:
RFK
Former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who backed President-elect Donald Trump, said Wednesday that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) bureaucracy should be winnowed down.

Before the election, Trump had floated Kennedy as having a role in his administration, namely targeting federal agencies that oversee health care, food, and drugs.

“There are entire departments, like the nutrition department at the FDA ... that have to go—that are not doing their job. They’re not protecting our kids,” Kennedy told MNSBC on Wednesday.

His quote's here is part of the reason why I thought along these lines.

FYI I'm not just talking about this one issue, but using it as an example for discussion regarding all the strawman's they put up. Feel free to add to this topic though.

At this point, I lean towards some of the best investments being a strong focus on ones health. Its overwhelmingly clear that every .gov agency that deals in any way shape or form regulating health-food-medicine (education, defense, etc) have utterly failed us. I couldn't imagine a better candidate than RFK to take a deep dive into this, he's essentially already done the research in "The Real Anthony Fauci". It could literally be the bible in taking this demon head on.

On another note, a former co-worker who was 300+ lbs for the majority of his adult life threw max contributions in about every retirement form, and then personal investments. I could never wrap my mind around him believing this to be the path, as he is at odds to even make it to that point of collecting any of it later down the road. Lived like he was hard up to, as he eliminated most discretionary spending.

A fan of Pinochet, I see. “Slithery slithery, helicopter delivery!”

Be his best friend and become a benefactor.

Was he married? Maybe he was planning that retirement for his surviving spouse and kids after he died young

Ex coworker is currently this way. Mid 30's, Engineer, Over weight, Single and probably sleeping on over a million in retirement.

I've got nothing to add, but I think that the left straw-mans are slowing loosing favor with the new progressive dems eyes. They are going to have to restructure for the next election and not appoint people who they thing deserve the seat and instead actually put some decent policy out there.
