I have plenty of bit sets from Milwaukee but find with an impact the 1" bits don't get used much unless I have an odd screw size. I tend to burn through the longer bits and collect 1" bits that don't get used.

When using an impact, the 1" bits stay in the screw way too often to use them regularly.

I tend to carry a box or two of assorted milwaukee plus buy the multi-packs of 2" bits in #2 phillips, square drive, or whatever screws I'm using.

I would prefer a set that is all 2" bits in an assortment of common bits, flat phillips, torx etc.

I'm not a brand snob if the kit is quality with a great assortment.

What are you guys using?

following along for info. milwaukee fan here, but have various makita, dewalt and other 1/4" impact bits and would definitely buy a 'kit' that had all 2" bits in it.

You can buy a locking extension that will hold your short bits securely.

I usually buy Milwaukee or DeWalt 1 1/2" long bits in 5 packs
