I grew up playing the game, and trust me, I'm as disgusted as anyone about how it's turned into "OMG, He touched me"
BUT,
Anyone that likes hockey (and understands the strategy) can agree that it's basically the same game.
Are they slamming each other into the boards? No.
Back in the day, though, if you got ball first, you could slam the Fawker into the bench with no consequences

No interest in slow, non-contact, low to no scoring sport. Soccer was on the TV somewhere this weekend and in the 30 seconds we watched we mostly laughed at the 2 fake injuries we got to see. It was sad, rolling and face grabbing only to see nothing in the replay
