A Tennessee cop allegedly shot and killed seven dogs with a rifle during an animal welfare check while their guardians were out to dinner.
Connor Brackin, the now former McNairy County Sheriff’s deputy, responded to the house in Bethel Springs, Tenn., on Nov. 4, following a call to check on the dogs, according to Atlanta News First.
When Brackin arrived, he allegedly opened fire upon the poor pups for no apparent reason, according to authorities.
The dogs’ owners, Kevin Dismuke and his wife, were out to dinner, according to Fox 13 Memphis.
The couple say when they returned home from the meal they found three of their dogs dead inside their home and four more dead outside, according to that report.

“To step out of your car with a .223 caliber rifle and shoot through my damn house,” Dismuke said to the outlet in utter disbelief.
The apoplectic dog dad said that someone had called law enforcement reporting malnourished pets at an abandoned home
“I don’t know where they come up with the idea that they were malnourished or abandoned,” he told Fox 13.
“Why he pulled up and done what he done, that’s something I don’t have an answer for. I’ll never have an answer for it,” Dismuke said.
A warrant was issued Tuesday and the alleged dog killer turned himself in on Wednesday, according to the report. He was released on bond.
Brackin had not even been on the job for a month at the time of the killings, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was dismissed from his post and was charged with seven counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and eight counts of reckless endangerment.

Weve seen 3 articales saying he just went after it and Tin Roof says the news story tells it as they were practicaly dead already and given the go ahead to smoke them.
Not jumping on the band wagon nor dirrectly deffending him, but you dont make it all the way to getting hired being dumb enough to not clear a house let alone randomly fire into a house. Im dumb as a fucking brick and i know better than that.
Seems to me hes getting scape goated to avoid the pc/so getting the wrath of peanut/herambe huggers.

Yes the fuck they do. They got jobs to fill and numbers to meet. A whole lot of sheriff and police departments would be better off firing the bottom 10% and using that money to raise everybody else’s pay and trying to get better applicants.
Half of these stories come from that bottom 10% that they hire to fill out their numbers.

Throw a couple off road toys and a 20yo diesel wonton in the driveway and it could be any one of a dozen people here. Ain't too hard to imagine a TP thread complaining about the neighbor's dogs and all the boomers scheming about how to work the system to fuck the neighbor over.

Anyone wanna bet there will be some domestic disturbances some assault and battery and possible shootings in the very near future all whilst the cop has his own bs to tend with. Because he is trigger happy. I’ve personally never heard of a a one month probation running a car solo let alone doing service responses in any situation for at least 9 months or longer. My money is on his supervisor stopped by and drove off after giving him a green light and set him up. A quick way to eliminate a rookie really.
Me personally if I had seen a bunch of dogs I’d have said fuck this rolled back down the road. I want to assume this all went down in a period of an hour. There is way too much going on here that is being hidden.
Of course when everything does get exposed all of the liberal media outlets will just wipe it off the counter into the trash.
