Have to go cross referencing ujoints tomorrow.

1994 Chevy S10 with a 231c is getting a Ford 8.8. Im guessing the Ford 8.8 has a larger pinion ujoint than the S10s 7.5" 10 bolt.

I am not sure if I can get a combo joint that will work, or if I should have a new shaft made.

Wonder if a Ford Explorer shaft can be cut down to work?

Explorer 8.8 should just be a regular 1310 with the bolt-on flange, that's what is in my buggy.

Don't know that I'd go out of my way to build a new driveshaft just to avoid a conversion u-joint, my old XJ on 1-tons ran a 1310-1350 for years. If it bothers you just keep a spare one around but in everything I broke on that XJ the conversion joint was never a problem.

If you are running a slip in the rear drive shaft you could just replace it with one with the correct joint size.

Havent got an slip yoke eliminator setup yet. Dont technically need one, but it would be nice.
