Things I can never understand... buying antigel (or trying to) after the cold snap has begun (I stock up in the spring/summer when it goes on sale). Trying to find an A/C on the local free pages in July when they are listed as free all winter long (I saw two more posted this past weekend with zero responses). Looking for a kerosene or space heater in MN in January when you can buy them for pennies on the dollar in May.

People can't see past their noses anymore.

Finally warned up here. First time it's been over freezing at the house in a couple weeks. Gotta wash stuff today.
 
Warmed up to -10* this morning.

High of around -8* but windy.

Don't mind it other than fighting with equipment and shit taking what seems like 10x as long.
Course summer means mud and shit loads of bugs, so cold is better.

I had put a "plug and play" auto start in the pickup since I park a good ways away from the camp. To go out, fire it up, and come back in kills 10 mins.

Id just hit the button while getting ready and it's at least not stone cold after running for a 1/2 hour.

It went into the shop for a heater issue on my R&R and they put a new core. Apparently decided the auto start was a hassle and threw it out.
Oh well, now I fire it up and once the lifters stop clacking im rolling.

It's definitely not summer any more here. Been consistently in the 20's overnight 40's during the day. Lots of fall colors.
 
got down to 20* here overnight.. back into the 70s for the weekend. lol
 
Blizzard here. Supposed to be below 0 later this week. Hopefully on the days the big wigs are coming to visit. 😅
 
No idea where the coldest place is. But, this morning has reminded me that I don't WANT to know where it is....will not ever seek it out.....and would like to stay as far away from it as possible.
 
16 at my place this morning. Not too bad. It'll be warm this weekend though and I'll be on the lake fishing.:smokin:
