My $2000.08 is now $2005.89 after a monthOur credit union is offering a premium bundled savings account at 4.05%. signed up for it, 48 hrs later account is visible. Made a deposit of $2000. That was 2 weeks ago, balance is now $2000.08
Seems low. I dropped $16k in CIT in Jan/Feb to see how it would do for a bit before adding more, and its now at $16,2XX.xx Last month's interest credit was over $60.My $2000.08 is now $2005.89 after a month
My big complaint is the app fucking SUCKS for an online-only bank. After this latest update, it wants to send a 2-factor code to a number that isn't mine, but only from the app. Logging in through the browser sends the code to my number. Before this update, the app would only work for about a week before locking me out (Authentication failed) where I would have to uninstall and reinstall it. I just don't have the time nor inclination to sit on hold for 2 hours waiting to tell them to fix their shit.Dropped $10k in a CIT account about a year ago, plus probably another 4k whenever I had extra after paying bills that I didn't want to piss away on dumb stuff. Has been earning about 5% since I started it. Interest earned has been averaging $55 a month.
Only complaint is it does take like a week for deposits to show up.
Fixed rate for the next however long the CD is for.So why/how would a cd be better then a savings account earning the same?
This thread should be in the TP. No need for a random thieving trolling scammer, banking crooks and eye r us to see "our money grows on trees portfolio" only to have it chopped down-You guys realize that the banks are not there for you, they are there to remove money from you
It's not.So why/how would a cd be better then a savings account earning the same?
I have no problems logging in from the browser, but the app blows donkey balls. It has tried to two-factor me from the very start of their two-factor on the app to a phone number that is not a part of my account. When I go in through an browser, it two factors me to my phone.
