Our 8yo pre lit tree lost some lights last year. It’s still in good shape so I bought some app controlled lights to replace them. Should be fun.
Normally yes, But We had the house painted, so the light brackets stayed, but lights came down for that.Well we know who left his christmas lights up all year
So today I had to fish the light cord over all the beams, and the sockets snap into the light brackets, then install all the bulbs.
Plus I had rotator cuff surgery and am doing well but far from 100%.
Today was a long day moving the ladder 2' at a time up and down up and down.
So I'll leave you with
My lights stayed up all year.

Every year the kids say they want Christmas lights. Every year, I say I'll buy them if they'll put them up. Every year, they conveniently forget about their desires after the conversation. I do not need another project. I'm not paying somebody to put lights on the house. Might get the tree up Sunday.
