I picked up a used (and now discontinued) RecTec (now RecTeq) Wyldside. Decided to try it out today.

Kicks ass. First up was rotisserie chicken. Best chicken I've ever made.

Used Blue Mountain Country chicken seasoning as a rub then brushed on some Walkerswood mild jerk seasoning. Couldn't find our hot Walkerswood.

Didn't last long.

I’ve always wanted a rotisserie , that looks delicious !

Look for Argentina/Santa Maria style grills.

www.Buckaroogrills.com has something similar to this.

This one has a blower to add oxygen to the fire.

My folks had a BigBoy grille in the Sixties with a rotisserie spit and baskets.
We grew up on rotisserie chicken.
To this day, it is firmly entrenched in my heart ❤️.
Love the Walkerswood Jerk marinade 🔥🍻

This is my first rotisserie. Hard to believe I never had one before.

I wanted to get a Wyldside when they were available but couldn't justify paying the $1,399 they were asking for them.

I said tonight that is is how we're doing chicken from this point forward. I can't imagine going back to a spatchcock on the smoker.

Wish I could get a rotisserie for my newer Req-Teq, its about the only thing I miss about my old gas grill.
