Want to run a big boy transmission? This is how you do it.

150.00 plus the ride.

What transmission would mate up to that bellhousing or is there another piece missing to mesh up to the transmission?

As in a 9 or 10 speed class 8 transmission?

This is the flywheel housing. You can run a SAE3 clutch or torque converter and mate up ANY SAE3 trans to any GM engine with that bolt pattern.

This one was a Duramax to an 7 speed Eaton.

So, yes, LS, Duramax, 6.5L etc.

This really should be in someone else' shed... instead of clogging up mine.

Duramax in a Carryall could be cool. I did the measuring once and with a custom accessory drive setup you can fit a 7.3 in there but never measured the dirtymax.

and someone dumped an SAE3 Allison core with me.

Although was thinking 6.6L L8T
