Still Tuesday, right?

Need cheap steel rims for my truck. Basic stuff. Just to swap over the studded snows. Tired of having to drop my truck off to swap tires on the wheels for $100 a pop. Just want to unbolt the streets, bolt up the snows, and calibrate the TPMS. I see plenty of 17" rims. But I have 18s (8x170). Does anyone make 8x170 18" steel rims? All I'm seeing is Aluminum and fancy rims.

There any place I could search? Summit is a no-go. TireRack is the same. Cragar's site doesn't list anything I need.

Buy a used set of factory take-offs:confused:

Can't find anything in my area. Not entirely sure what to punch into the search bar;

FORD 8 LUG RIMS
8x170 18
FORD RIMS

etc

Nothing comes up that I can use. Unless order line maybe?

Alright. Looking around, and nothing in 18". :homer:

Won't 17s clear too? Seem to remember that 17 was the absolute minimum but 18-20 is factory lately.

Not that it helps but there is a set of 17" stock steelies on fbmp locally for $75 with shitty rubber so that should be pretty normal.

Already have the 18" tires though. Past two years I've just had the shop swap them over. Now I just want to do it myself.

hrm. on the hook for tire disposal. Was hoping for used I'd get off cheaper than that, though.

Big concern is the offset though. I don't want my tires kicked out 6". :homer:

Anyone know off hand if 2006 F350 had TPMS? Either way, found a set. $50. If I have to install TPMS, that's fine too.

You don't have to install TPMS, you can ignore the warning like I did. I only say this because I know you are the kind of guy who actually looks at his tires.

My wife got so pissed at me when I mentioned this. Back when she had her little Focus, I threw some studded snows on steelies without the TPMS. She drove 50 miles a day with that god damned buzzer going off. I'm all like, hell no I'm not riding with that buzzer. FOr ~$100 I get the sensors and the tool.

Pretty sure I found a set. Off a '06 F350. $50 with shit tires that I'll need to get rid of. Not bad if this works out. I was expecting something like $500 all set and done. Was hoping for some black rims, but oh well. I'll rock these.

You coming to ca anytime soon? I could be convinced to sell my 18s cheap

California is the last place on my list of places to visit. You all talk like fags and your shits all retarded. :flipoff2:

Thanks, but that's a helluva drive. :D

Car-part.com
I've been finding better prices on a lot of stuff at legit junkyards vs. idiots on fbmp and cl lately.
