check with Summit. They have mine listed with estimated Delivery late OCT.
I anticipate the orders will be cancelled...

I dunno, it's getting a little too pissy over there for me to sift through. :smokin:

The way I look at it is that this was a freak of a deal. If you get one, awesome, but we aren't entitled to anything. If it gets cancelled then it was nothing more than 5 minutes of your time to submit an order. Some people are acting like they are OWED 75% off on $250-1500 of crap.
 
I ended up with mine, but I'm thinking that its somehow related to the email attacks I'm getting. Looks like a bot is signing me up to every fucking website out there in tons of different names. I've been watching the accounts and nothing is hitting them yet, but I'm aware of the MO.
 
My credit card was stolen a week after ordering from Nitro. Not sure if it’s a fluke or not. $800 charge at LinkedIn and a couple smaller charges.

My entire $500 order showed up.

My order from nitro was cancelled today. I assume my order from summit will be too.

check your credit card statement for fraud just to be safe. If you're not tracking, Nitro made a statement that they had malware that contributed to a ton of fraud charges from customers. A lot of people on ih8mud report fraud.

Just received my order yesterday. Funny thing is I sold the truck these were going to be backup's for. 5.29 V6.
 
I got basically everything but 3-5.71 gearsets that summit errantly showed shipped. Called them today, they are supposedly on the way.
 
Summit still says " Expected to Ship From Manufacturer Oct 26, 2023"
 
I was just dealing with summit earlier, some parts are supposed to ship next week. No eta on 5.29 gears...
 
So slummit said they already shipped my stuff and it was received. Checked the tracking number and it was sent to somewhere in Victorville. They are now investigating what happened and said I would lose out on the deal. Now I wait even longer....

damn... my still says expected to ship 10/26.
 
This whole deal was real screw up on nitro's part. Make everyone wait forever and maybe your order gets canceled maybe it doesnt. Maybe you get credit card fraud. Not a great look

Agree. It’s marketing getting ahead of… honesty, I guess.

If summit tries to cancel, they’ll at least get a piece of my mind.

Dealt with this on a small furniture vendor a number of years ago. Excuse after excuse. Their client services person said they were overwhelmed and couldn’t keep up. Yet they launched another 50% off deal, which I bitched about. I ended up getting a cool “gift” and never billed for the furniture.

Point being.. nitro can handle this in two ways. 1 - FU. 2 - our bad. We apologize and will deliver the goods.

I suspect the former will be the path forward
