A leaked database of 2 million Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members revealed that thousands of Chinese communist members infiltrated US, UK, and Australian government agencies and companies.
The database leak, originally reported by The Australian, revealed the identities of nearly 2 million CCP members, thousands of which were discovered to be employed by western businesses and government agencies, and 79,000 branches of the CCP.
The Australian described more than 7,000 CCP members identified in just seven major global companies.

AstraZeneca: 54
Pfizer: 69
QualCom: 229
Hewlett-Packard: 390
HSBC: 345
Boeing and QualComm are just two companies identified with U.S. military contracts. Aerospace giant Boeing has billions of dollars worth of contracts with the US military, while QualComm manufactures computer chips and other hardware for the US Department of Defense’s IT systems and more.
According to the Daily Mail, the database was initially leaked to the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC) in September by a Chinese dissident. The database was then reportedly authenticated by the Australian cybersecurity firm Internet 2.0 and the findings from the data were originally released to four media organizations around the world, including the Daily Mail.
The IPAC is an international organization that monitors Chinese government activity, and to advise lawmakers on policies to counteract Chinese efforts.
The database leak comes just days after a number of disturbing revelations involving CCP infiltration of American institutions:
“Communist China has been allowed to infiltrate our universities and corporations with people loyal to only the Communist Party,” former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell said Sunday.
“Our beloved Chinese American community has been warning us about these tactics for many years, and the political class has ignored those warnings.”

- Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe warned that China has targeted members of Congress and poses “the greatest threat to democracy and freedom” since World War II.
- Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned of China’s infiltration of US universities, which are “hooked on Communist cash” and stifle criticism of Beijing.
- Media reports identified Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), a member of House Intelligence Committee, as one of several San Francisco politicians courted by Chinese spy Christine Fang.
- It was confirmed last week that Joe Biden’s son Hunter is under federal investigation over tax fraud and potential money-laundering over his foreign business dealings, including in China.
