Your an idiot, Cat partnered with international to make those CAT trucks which I was talking about. Cat should have continued making on road engines which is what I'm talking about. And yes I'm fully aware they still make larger engines. Smaller Cat engines are made by other manufacturers.

I commented that they also killed their truck (on highway) engines, which hadn't been previously mentioned.

You're looking for an argument when there isn't one you dolt.

Still have one in the fleet that I gotta keep running.
They put some silly shit in some stupid places on that engine. Still not fan. Loud as fuck at highway cruising speeds, and absolutely no balls. This is is a box truck, rv's may be different....but the engine itself is still a pain in the dick to work on.

Oh yeah I get it but that engine in the machines it was dream to work on compared to the shit that replaced it and the emissions added to it.

Whatever they are now ain't what they used to be. I used to get 3+ years out of daily rough use out of a pair of Cat boots back around 2003 -2008? Now they're falling apart in a year or less it seems. Soles splitting and coming off, and just wearing down the tread faster with much easier treatment. Guess I should clarify, I quit buying them like 6 years ago because they just weren't worth it any more, but that was my experience.

Gutless turds that are way to overly complicated for the horsepower level. 6.7 PSD’s and Cummins both have more power and are physically smaller weigh less.

The old school Lamborghini SUV hummer type was a legit fuggin SUV, this new school shit is proably a f150 with a fuggin wide body kit on it. Fuggin shame.
