What's new

Can some explain what's up in this article?

Something fucked up is going on there.

How could the company have gone public?

Can I bring my company public and make lots of millions of dollars?

How the fuck does that work?

Seriously interested.

Definitely shady happenings. $320k in "consulting" fees?

Yeah there is something funky going on. It costs $40-50k for an ipo then $10-20k for ongoing fees. That biz just doesnt have the numbers.

Sounds like an amateur money laundering scheme.
I don't know shit about fuck.

Same as the rest of the market... nothing makes sense anymore.

This sounds like some sort of Chinese shell company scheme
Maybe, lots of Chinese money that wants to leave the country before it's gated. Somebody tried to retain a law firm, lose the multi million dollar lawsuit, and the money could leave China.

I dont think its money laundering so much as funneling chinese money to someone.
Isn't that money laundering?

It's not like some Chinese investors feels generous and is making a donation. The business owner obviously did something and is now trying to legitimize the payoff.

Maybe he's a hitman and The Accountant already used a minimall so he went deli instead.
