Cabin Rental Gatlinburg TN. ?

Wife and I stayed in this one https://www.smokymtndreams.com/gatlinburg-cabin-rentals/384-bear-secrets a couple years ago for a long weekend away from the kids and didn't really have anything we could complain about with the house or the management. Check in is easy they just email you the door lock code a couple hours before you arrive so you don't have to spend time going to an office to get a key. We had a great time in the area and will be going back at some point.

Been to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. That thing twas a tourist HAVEN. Had the Disneyworld vibe to it.

Drive up 3h on 81. Grayson State Park. Freaking, GORGEOUS. That was probably our favorite stop.

Thanks guys thats all I needed.
I'm a Northern California guy living Louisiana, I need some Mountains in my life. We are taking a 4-5 week road trip with only a couple reservations and no real direction or need to be anywhere.

Yea, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge felt so...cheap. Like the rewards you get from a carnival.

For the roadtrip, my wife and I did the east coast and Grayson State Park was quite a drive up to a park on a mountain. You should have seen the stars. That was awesome.

This was from the top:

Here is the deal with cabins I have found.

I talk to people daily about their cabin, 95% of people only love them and have no complaints at all.

The 5% that complains it is one of 2 complaints

1) The driveway is too steep
2) There is no view.

I like to use VRBO and you can see the pictures of the view there, if you do not see a picture of the view then it does not have one.

As for the driveway, nothing you can do there. There are some shitty driveways.
