They've been pretty good in the past, typically I will get the gun inside of two weeks. But I ordered a 22 rifle and stripped lower 30 days ago and they still haven't even shipped. They keep sending auto emails apologizing claiming they are understaffed. Whatever, I don't need them immediately, but 30 days without shipping makes me hesitant to buy anything again. Has anyone had to wait this long or longer?

Not for Buds but for CBC. Six months for a BCG that never shipped. CBC was selling stuff they didn't have in stock. I won't buy from them again. Buds seems to have a better reputation, though. Personally, I would call my credit card and dispute, but that's me...

I been using grab a gun, been good.
Last ffl i used sucked.
Had a good one in cuse, but he said f new yuck and left for south carolina.

Only ever bought ammo from Bud's.

I've made 4 online, ship to FFL, purchases in the past year during the COVID shipping and staffing shortages. Two were from Kentucky Gun Co. and 1 was from PSA. Every one of those shipped withing 2 days. I've had worse luck from PSA during normal times, maybe they have their act together now?

That 4th one was from Brownells and they would have shipped next day if they FFL they had on file for my dealer wasn't expired. Brownells customer support went above and beyond on their end, but the geniuses at my usual FFL couldn't seem to figure out how to email or fax their license. Wasted 4 days, playing middle man before giving up. Brownells helped me pick a different local FFL that they already had on file to ship to.

Never had issues with them, but it's been a few years since I've used them as well.

But in general, if I buy something that's in stock and it takes more than a few days to ship out you're not getting my business again. I'd have called them at a week, at 30 days I'm definitely cancelling the order. I don't care how understaffed you are, you took my order for an in stock item, get it fucking shipped or stop taking orders until you're caught up. I don't believe for a second that you can't reasonably ship something you have on hand in a month.

I have bought some off of gun broker since the china stuff came around. Shipped next day. I am not a fan of buds. They seem to be a walmart of guns.
