Got any more angles of the frenched lower links?
It was boxed in then the guest/ramp added so the frame is sealed off and extra ribbing added.

This is what defeat looked like July 2016 when I pulled it out of the shop. I would sit in storage for 6 almost 7 years until 2023 when I brought it out to start trying to make simple progress. Then eventually bringing it to SoCal to get finished.

Playing around with cage ideas the plan is to pad and upholster the area where the 3rd seat would have gone and use it for extra camping gear and to put my dog!! It will have a sun shade or hard pan roof to keep the sun or rain off her while on mellow trail Runs. Otherwise it will be empty or have tools and parts totes

I bought a PRP comp high back for a third seat but it really doesn’t fit all that great because the upper links go so high into the space It would fit a kids seat perfectly and part of the reason for building it this way.

I am contemplating a few options cooler under spare and spar flips up with gas strut assist and cooler is on drawer runners to pull out and be accessible. But that put the tire much higher than I care for performance wise
Other option is tire under cooler and the cooler is nearly impossible to look or reach in.
There will be times I want both for long trails or “ultimate adventure” type trips where we high 4-5 trails back to back with highways in between.
A traditional store carrier option for trail use then cooler in the back and tire laid down in back for race spec might be the ticket.

I love how low you put the fuel cell in the chassis. That should really help with handling and your CoG having all that weight down low. :smokin:
I’m gonna be Dukes of Hazard back road sliding this bitch!! I also drift as one of my other money eating hobbies!! The jeep is getting a hand brake for sure!!
