I am making a custom machined shaft for something. I need to make a spline section with a bolted flange. Obviously a semi-float axle shaft is perfect stock to use for that. I've built one out of a junkyard shaft already but I want to machine a chromo one because it's in a bitch of a location and I don't want to break it. Any semi-float axle shaft will do as long as the bearing area is 1-3/8 diameter or greater.
