Bought a Bantam trailer to make a trail/hybrid out of.

Tub is Bantam, frame and springs appear to be as well.

Tongue, fenders and axles are hombrew.

Plan is to drop a new axle (currently has a welded front truck axle) and some round fenders.

Re-do the tongue setup and call it good after some cleanup and paint.

They were asking $350, I offered $200.

Poor little thing...
Good project.
The plan is to save the tub/frame.

It is actually bacwards (the old tongue used to mount where the back of the trailer is now?????)

I am going to remake a new tongue similar to an original.

Great little trailers the design really fits the flatties perfectly.

I still have my dads 46 2a and "undocumented year" bantam trailer.
Ps the flattie tailgate fits purty well if ya can find one...

Cool! Looking forward to the project, seems the back side always got chopped out of these. I picked one up a few years back that also needs some work, but still haven't fixed it up yet... Same price too.

Sadly not yet.

Added a second story loft to the ole cabin has been taking my spare project time.
