What's new

Bob Seger

I saw him at Viejas Arena (San Diego) in 2019. I was working the concert as a security risk manager. Great show, great fans. Security didn't get a call of a drunk or unruly fan all night. I got to watch the entire show from backstage and the floor. He's a heck of a showman. He explains when and how he wrote songs. For example; he wrote "Like a Rock" while he was in high school. He came up with it while running a cross country meet, or so he said.

As soon as the show ended, he got checked by his personal physician. Then, he goes to the airport and flys home in his personal jet. His manager said he does that after every concert. He flys in, does his thing, and flys home.

You don’t really have to worry about a bunch of geriatrics getting too crazy.

Bob Seger Greatest Hits was my first CD. It was given to me by my dad. I still have it and play it on occasion. He’s one of my favorite artists. I always wanted to take my dad to one of his concerts, but never had the scratch and the opportunity at the same time.

Another Liberal thought.
:shaking: :Gary’s: favorite people.

Meh, never bought any of his noise or would pay anything to see his concerts. That said, I never had to change the station if his noise was played, but I wasn’t a big fan of him or his noise

What noise are you a fan of, Linky?

Expected to hear he was dead. Actually can't think of a single song of his. What did I miss?

If Live Bullet sides1&3 were on the changer when I was a kid then you were having a good day. I don’t think my Dad could have a bad day listening to that at levels just below what my would complain about.
