Ok that was funnyIt can't even pull a wheelie with a floor jack.

Does it hop coke bottles?
Keep the 455, your not gonna get the torque youve got under 3000 with an ls
Careful, someone's gunna come along and try making fun of us old people and all our horsetorqes again
If you are burning tire you need suspension work, if you can't burn tire you need engine work.Torque is useless when it results in shredded tires and zero gain in speed...

Diesel like torque but it comes with diesel like rpm. Will still be slower than an LS with a turbo.
by that logic, why not just stud and turbo the 455?couple little tiny turbos off an ecobust and he'll have 4x the torque below 2000
You driving this thing everyday? Rv cam, worked over heads, big radiator
then theres 1/4 times fast and pass someone on the freeway fast

Theres something fun about throwing in 2nd and doing instant burnout off idle..And the around town grunt.
Depends on what you want. If you don't actually want it to be fast but want it to feel fast, different ways to go about it. An around town cruiser I'd rather have the cubes.
because flywheel torque is entirely worthlessby that logic, why not just stud and turbo the 455?
N/A simple and fun
A high strung low cid engine for street is worthless.because flywheel torque is entirely worthless

My '70 429 with nothing but a cast edelbrock intake and holley 650 leaves me plenty happy when I floor it.
Torque management though right? My 75 swb bbc w ¾ ton axles it funner to drive than the 03 swb 2wd 5.3 we have at work. The 75 launches harder and can burn tire longer, the 454 is stock, .030 over quadrajet and manifolds.
Thank you. I definitely over paid for it so the compliments help a lot.beautiful
On the 5.3? Probably, it's stock.Torque management though right?
need more pics, i had a stock 70 429 thunderjet in my first dentsideMy '70 429 with nothing but a cast edelbrock intake and holley 650 leaves me plenty happy when I floor it.
When the turbo spools up on this little V6 it pulls harder and longer than the 1994 LT1 I had in it previously.
Ya'll still arguing over a 12 second car at best
That’s what Bugatti said. There's no replacement for displacement.
Think solid fuel engine, make it an actual rocket.
I'll do a whole thread on it after I wrap up a few open projects. It needs some stuff done to it for sureneed more pics, i had a stock 70 429 thunderjet in my first dentside
