Black Friday Sales 2023

I have a 65" downstairs and there was a 75" at Sam's yesterday on sale for $699 that I just had to grit my teeth and walk past. Yes, want. No, do not need. Keep walking.

If I had somewhere else to use the 65" I would've bought the 75" but the 65" is too big for where my upstairs living room TV is.
Best buy has a 65” for 400 and a 75” for under 600.

I joked to the better half that we could fit a 90" on the wall when we moved in 3 years ago... I am still waiting for her to tell me she bought one. The 75" we have was an African American Friday sale she picked up for stupid cheap, it does everything we need but I mean the wall could fit a bigger TV ha

That 36" tube was (I'm pretty sure) 350-380lbs. And oddly shaped, not easy to get ahold of.

During the time frame that I had it, I moved 5 or 6 times. Had buddies "I'll help you move this weekend but I ain't fucking with that TV".
Me and a friend moved one for my grandma after it died, it took all we had. It’s Heavy, and there’s no place to grab it.

Not that HF boxes are gods gift but they're nicer than anything homodepot sells. When I bought my 56" HF box a few years ago I spent the day checking out everyone in towns boxes and US general are stiffer with thicker material.

I'm a Milwaukee whore so when they were released I was 100% going to buy the big Milwaukee box until I fondled my nephew's. It's a basically a shitty 1995 roller bearing craftsman box with a wrinkle paint job and new label. I was sad. From the looks of it whoever it is in China that builds Milwaukee boxes is just a private label manufacturer so dewilt, Milwaukee and a handful of others are all the same cheap shit.
I bought one used but in new condition 8 years ago. A guy I worked with traded it in for a new huge snap on box. I had a craftsman stand up stack box I bought just for this job from sears when they were closing one of their locations. The Milwaukee box was a little better built and bigger. Snap on guy made a good deal so I ended up with it.

It’s no where near the quality of the big snap on boxes I have but it fit the bill for then. Now it’s in my basement shop loaded with wood working tools.

Why are you so convinced of that? You follow markets or get reports or work in real estate or loans or what?

Anyway, back to black friday. I need a phone. Google pixel or Samsung a couple years old model. Where should I be looking? Amazon, Walmart, etc?
I got a Pixel 6a during Prime Day part 1 this summer. I'd expect similar deals again.

Looking for a prebent stainless steel brake and fuel line kit.

Real stainless not that copper / stainless stuff.

Motobilt has 20,30 and 40% off stuff.

Has anyone seen any news from Harbor Freight about upcoming sales?

I'm tool chest shopping - if their new Series 3 stuff goes on sale, I'm 100% throwing money at it.

(EDIT: I just found the printed ad that has $300 off the 72" wide roller cabinet, but that's it. I'm hoping for the 44" top and bottom to go on sale... probably wishful thinking.)

I'm kinda disappointed about the options on the market. Craftsman boxes are okay-ish quality that I'd be okay with except their prices are high. My current best option is the 41" Husky combination box on sale for $500.

Artec industries up to 30% off sale

I feel they need to offer a better discount to make up for the terrible customer service.

Also I'm probably gonna need that nes adapter. Will the light gun work with it?

Good deal but the non-fuel driver and drill are shitty.
I’m a big fan of the non fuel m12 driver; has just enough ass to set 3.5” deck screws and not snap the heads off and sufficient power to do abou anything less. it’s not what I want to use to do that all day to build a deck, but it’ll do almost anything i want in a moderate around the house/shop capacity.

My first? Gen brush-type m12 impact driver is the tool I use the most at work. I use it to run down bolts to “snug” before final torque with no worries of stripping the fastener (over 1/4”-M6 anyway), and it is awesome for tightening hose clamps rapidly without stripping unless you’re dumb enough to rattle on it for more than a 1-Mississippi. Using it on the constant tension clamps holding back 60psi process water gets them about as tight as possible without stripping the worm drive.
I’m aware all the new brushless stuff has torque settings, but the manner in which they limit torque neuters them on low and the mid setting has too many balls.

I went from a non fuel m12 set to a fuel m12 set and yea the non fuel did the job but for me it was too much for it's intended purpose. :homer: I was breaking drive hexes on rc cars at 2 uggaduggas. Switched to fuel and set the torque to #2 and whack them a few uggadugga and they're perfect. The way they limit torque with speed is slick if you let it work. Even on #1 it'll get shit tight if you keep rattling on it long enough, it just takes longer to get there.

It'll do that and still drive 3" deck screws quickly all day long on #3.

I don't think there is a wrong answer with these tools but some are a better answer for certain things than others. :smokin:

I'm looking for a Hack & Tap SYE for a NP242J, looks like Iron Rock Offroad is the only one doing a yoke style anymore.

If anyone sees an Iron Rock Offroad BF/CM promo or knows of another vendor, pass it along my way please.
