I think it might send a message if you are looking at a engine and it has a line of decals that resemble a WW2 fighter/bomber with stick people/cars accounting for kills

Pull up the location on a satellite map view and it shows a siding and the main line. I'd bet money the switch wasn't lined properly, and sent the whole works off the rails, literally.

That would go well with this picture which appears to show track that has been pushed toward the camera (by the engine and preceding cars) hard enough to unbend all the track clips:

Looks like either the spotter was giving bad directions or the driver wasn't following his directions.

24 hours before that, I was driving under that spot with the trail traveling overhead
My daughter said that she always felt like the train was going to fall on us

woke up to next morning with a pile of train in that exact spot

My buddy drove under it within minutes of it coming off the overpass. He estimates under 2-3 minutes based on his dashcam time😱
