Looking for a bench seat to swap into a custom stretched Jeep.
Width is 53” with NO bucket, the 53, is door panel to door panel.

I have 2x buckets with space and want to replace with a bench.
The 53” must be usable seat space.

Any ideas?

PRP will make a bench seat in any width you want. I'm sure there are others that will too.

The square body suburbans had a pretty decent removable third row seat. Not sure on width, but it fits two adults comfortably. It's also dead simple to make a bracket to use the removable mounts.

Added bonus: ash tray armrests!

Called PRP and I lose 12” of 53” wide seat due to the flaring of the seat so that’s a no go.
Did figure out that excursion and suburban seats a have similar widths and better profile.

Found a discount van truck dealer that makes OEM upgrades that will work.

Joking with the wife that I’m going to swap excursion rear and F250 fronts.
Have to clear some bills up and then I can get back into it.

Early 2000s suburban have a narrow 3rd row seat that has integrated shoulder seatbelts.

^^^ merricks garage makes mounts for them too.
Make sure they don’t have any notched tubes. He got butthurt when I pointed out he didn’t prep the tubes correctly
