Artsy Things to do with Whole Pecans in Shells?

Title pretty much says it.

I thought of making a holiday wreath. That's about the only thing I found via Google too.

I've got a tote bag full of pecans from Jewels' Grandpa's place that her Grandpa picked and we never did anything with. He passed away last fall. I was thinking I could do something with them for some kind of artsy keepsake memento for all of his kids and grandkids for Christmas this year.

I have a photo of him picking pecans with his pecan picking cane roller basket thingy. Maybe make a photo frame out of pecans and put that photo in it?

When I try to imagine a photo frame made of pecans, it looks pretty tacky.

Open to ideas.

I had to shut that shit down years ago.


It took a couple of months to convince her, but I eventually made her realize that A) most of that shit is so stupid that B) I ain't wasting time trying to recreate it in our house.
 
End/coffee table.

Make a recessed section in the top, fill with nuts, and then epoxy over it. Could even do a shadowbox type deal with the picture in the middle.
