Anyone know which hubs or ersion of a 44 I found?

Picked up a 3/4 ton 44 for the front of my Burb. Trying to find replacement hubs and haven't seen this version before. Anyone have any insight into what I have done to myself by grabbing this one?

Those are Selectro hubs.

Any wisdom on them? Swap for newer versions, or rebuild/refresh them and run them as is. Mostly daily driver duties with some camping, hunting, logging road fun...oh, and lots of snow.

My bad. Buddy of mine back home has a set of those hubs on his Chevy. For some reason I was thinking Selectro but now I remember they are Warn.

They're called external hubs. They break easier than internals and cost way more.

I never broke a hub that didnt break an axle first.

They stick out far
Are very exspensive
but other wise just fine.

Some old spicers are about the only other option i would seek out. But youll pay some where between $50-1500 for them.
