Need to paint a deck and a shed that I am residing in a couple weeks. Anyone have one of these HF Avanti brand airless paint sprayers? I plan to use Sherwin Williams waterborne deck paint for the deck. Not sure on the shed yet but something that is water based for ease of clean up.

I have an airless that HF sold before that one. Cant remember if it is an avanti or whatever brand. Doesnt have the fancy roller car. Sprays paint fine. Have done a few houses with it, has more than paid for itself. Probably not tough enough for commercial everyday work. Seems to be compatible with standard market nozzles and such. Kinda a pain to clean, but I am guessing they all are.

This would be basically homeowner use. I don't paint for a living.

I have it. I painted my cabin with it. they are great. If you keep it clean and I mean CLEAN, it will be fantastic. If not, it will suck and you will say it sucks and the painters here will know you don't do so good at cleaning.

It is ALL about keeping it clean.

I've got the older Krause & Becker version, it doesn't appear to carried by HF anymore. It was about $100 cheaper than that one in the OP.

I painted a 20' shipping container with it, main reason I bought it. Worked great, haven't really found any other uses for it but glad I have it.

VERY timely thread. How bad is it really? And is there anything in a similar price range +/-$100 or so.

How clean is clean? The video makes it look pretty easy to clean.

I've got wood panel inside house that needs a fresh coat. In the below picture, the walls were stripped and the ceiling was not. Not sure how they were stripped.

I'll be hitting maybe 400 square feet inside of house. If it works well, I might do outside of 700 square foot house. Price would be worth it if it lasts through the one house.

I do have primary house that it could help so I'm willing to spend a couple bucks more..
