Anyone get snipped?

I got snipped in 2015 after kid #5. I initially had the couple of day sore swagger that turned into 6 month kicked in the balls waddle. I did it on a Thursday and did fine for a couple of days. Then went back to work doing demolition (breaking a cold war era school bomb shelter slab/walls/footings) I'd load my 30 yard dump trailer and run loads to a farm a couple of miles away. In and out of two Cat 330s or 345s and up/down a Western Star truck and then in/out to hit the highlift tailgate valve on trailer. By day two at work (Tuesday), my plums were bruised and abused. I could hardly work and the crew enjoyed watching me "pappy'n" around. I'm talking 5 minutes to walk across an acre site and climb into whatever I was running. This lasted 2 more weeks and no time off available. I still have sensitivity and rolling a nut is death pain. Fuuuuarck that shit. Ended up splitting with the baby factory shortly thereafter so it was for naught. Current wife has had a hysterectomy, so completely bullshit procedure in my case. Watching smoke rise up from your crotch isn't a good sight for anyone to ever witness. I have to tread lightly as I feel as if the death pain will come on at a moment's notice or a wrong move will drop me like a jogger on a job site.
0/10 stars...would not recommend I'd you're a intensive labor type.

Got it done a month after kid #2 was born. my guy was good. did the whole procedure in my sack. no stitches. no problem. I sat around for two days and was ready to go. The only problem i had was that i sat in a recliner that held my legs together to tight and squished my balls. they were a little sore, but i was working out 5 days later.

For anyone saying they'd rather have their wife do it. don't be a bitch. it is super invasive and is a major surgery with the potential for complications.


We decided we wanted another kid after i got snipped. We ended up getting our foster care licence and we hope to adopt.
 
Been married 33 years and got snipped about 23 yrs ago. Way back when we decided to have kids she went off the pill and and all I had to do was look at her wrong and she got pregnant. Daughter #1 was born in 1993. Decided to have another, looked at her wrong again and daughter #2 born in 1996. We agreed that was enough and with how easily she got pregnant I wasn't taking any chances. It was a long time ago but really no big deal. They do the thing, some discomfort for a few days and life goes on.
 
Shot live rounds as long as I could then about three years ago bypassed the nut snip and went straight for the evil walnut (prostate) removal................................

Did any of you that got preemptively neutered freeze a sample beforehand? What do you do if you change your mind later, reversal surgery?
 
I regret not getting snipped after the wife and I split. I called two places they both made a stink about my age, I probably sounded manic.
 
5 kids. Got snipped 13 years ago. A very hot female (have to say it for you bastards) nurse and female urologist made it very fun, handling my junk.

Insert all the psuedo porn stories on the firing blanks tests. Offering to help, etc.

Nope. never even entertained the idea. My feeling on it is that when you make the decision to get snipped, you should be ready to never have any more children - period. Sure it can be reversed but now you are going under the knife again, with all the risks of complications that come with it. Not a risk I am willing to take.
 
Now, uh, does everything still function fine afterwards? Any changes in booming of dynamite?
 
I got snipped. Same deal, 1 girl, 1 boy. There is 0 chance I'll want a 3rd. It was no big deal and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I haven't had any side effects. It certainly wasn't 6 months of pain, it was more like 6 days. And it wasn't really hurt, just sore. My doc did say I was the only person to ever ask for a mirror :flipoff2:

I did it in september of 2000. Youngest of two boys was born in august of 2000. :laughing: Two was enough for us and I didn't want to wreck my wifes body having a slug of kids. Procedure was easy, had it done by my regular family practice doc. At the time was driving for ups, a package car on a rural route. Lots of miles on rough gravel roads. Had it done Friday morning and was back on the route monday. Like others mentioned had some soreness for a week or so, otherwise no issues. There is a lot of freedom in not worrying about knocking her up. Since then as a result of her cancer stuffs, shes had all her bits taken out. Literally no chance in hell we are having any more kids. Guaranteed it would be the second coming if she gets pregnant!

Funny story from the procedure. As I was getting it done, like legs in the stirrups and sizzling vaz's, my doc tells me he was training a new doc sometime prior on this procedure when the new doc (who was doing the procedure for the first time) drops the scalpel and says "whoops" out loud! :lmao: The patient was obviously less than enthused at the comment. Fast forward a few years and we are at a dinner party. Doc from our local town(not my doc) is there with his wife. Somehow the guys in the group outside by the grill get to talking about getting fixed. The doc chimes in with his story of scaring a patient by saying "whoops" after dropping the scalpel mid procedure! I had a good laugh telling him I already heard that story from my doc, while getting snipped! :lmao:
 
i'll also say, mine was free through insurance. no deductible or anything.

Everything works fine, same as it was before.
 
I had it done last year, I've got one kid and the gf was tired of birth control fucking with her hormones. The procedure sucked, I could feel him cut open my sack and every snip he made felt like i was getting my balls twisted in a vice. I was able to go back to work after the weekend, but I didn't fully recover for a month. I still get the feeling of being kicked in the balls randomly, maybe once every two months. Guess it's a reminder from my balls.
