I found a 5speed donor at the wrecking yard and contemplating swapping my 3/4 6.0 daily. Mostly curious if I’ll do better than 12mpg with it besides being able to pick my gears while towing and daily driving.

I swapped nv4500 in years ago and for the most part love it
Im not a fan of the 2nd/3rd gear ratios gap/spacing,to big of a gap
and you are not shifting into gear fast,it will go into gear when its ready

I daily drove a CCSB for 8 years. Mileage wasn’t any better than the autos I owned before but it was very fun to drive.
