who are they protesting now? I'm confused...
of note, this is now labeled as "significant destruction" whereas 2 months ago it was not
Amazing coincidence. maybe they just got better at destructionating...
It is funny and sad. Their Anarchist message remains though. It doesn't look like they are advocating for a seat at the table like BLM.
they are the violent arm of BLM.
BLM wants to destroy the table as well.
BLM=Defund the police
Defund the police = abolish the police
messaging so consistent that it got painted on the public streets of DC last year
Trumpsters dressed as Antifa.
Oh antifa is just an idea...

Ain't nobody got time fo dat.
Portland is like a third world shit hole, but worse.
Antifa IS pretty much just an idea. They're all a bunch of anarchists rallying under that banner. Have you ever tried to tell an anarchist what to do? Or given them structure and marching orders? It doesn't happen. Best anyone can do to get them mobilized is plant an idea in their head. Yeah, they showed up at BLM protests and riots, because it gave them an opportunity to fight against the man, but they are also the same people who got violent during G7 summits and any other protest they could show up to.
I don't know about worse...our homeless have new cars and RVs
You are paying more attention than I but it seems there are some cracks between Antifa and BLM at some level. I think some in the BLM structure want to move into power roles now that "their guy &girl" are in office and get theirs while the gettings good.
Antifa smashing things now and writing F Joe Biden says they don't want a seat. If BLM moves into power and responsibility Antifa will turn on them too. They need their cause to give excuse to their violence. If the cause rejected them they would turn and riot for LGBQRXTUV or other reasons next. Didn't it all kinda start against Globalization and the World Bank meeting? Why shift from that cause?
Sorry, but I have run large groups in reenactment melee events where 100s of people beat on each other with sticks in armour for fun. There is NO WAY the number of people they are fielding in a day long "Protest" can be an organic event where people just show up on their own. The amount of people needed to transport, feed and medically treat this many people on a sustained level in a city setting for weeks on end is huge. Just parking that many vehicles would be a challenge and would need carpooling to hide the footprint. What I am amazed by is their understanding of technology and covert comms.
Seriously.
Obviously a ton of the RV's are complete garbage but every now and then you see a brand new 100k RV and you think, WTF, does this guy just not want to pay property taxes?
Yeah, I'm not saying they can't organize for a riot, just that they're not going to align themselves with any political ideal other than their own. BLM, democrats, whatever. They have also been around starting shit long before BLM was a thing.

One thing that's interesting was Antifa's ability to strategically align themselves with BLM and make it about race. A lot of you guys have expressed frustration(putting it mildly) that something like the stop the steal protest and violence at the capitol was billed as an attack or destruction whereas BLM protests turned to riots got billed as "mostly peaceful". A lot of people believe that's because the left wing media is trying to push a leftist agenda, but I think there's more to it than that.
A protest to try and keep Trump in office is political in nature. BLM protests were about racial equality. No one wants to risk being branded a racist by not supporting their "right to protest" and it was even floated everywhere that us non-black people don't get to tell them "the right way to protest". It makes it tricky for any political candidate that has racial equality as a major part of their platform to condemn those actions or else they risk getting branded as racist themselves. The same goes for the news media. Everyone was walking on eggshells reporting on the issue because it was about race. I propose Antifa seized on that opportunity and made sure they aligned themselves with BLM to make it more difficult to condemn their actions or go after their people without making law enforcement look racist.
Anyway, you guys get to have your tinfoil hat theories all the time. That one is mine.
