Been looking around and can't really find anything comparable. Bought it to 3.4 swap and build but then I took over my son's truck that we built and was already 3.4 swapped and built so this had just been sitting and I am tired of it being on the side of my house.

It's on non-op with about $250 total to get it on the road for the next year.

Tires are junk, all the parts, was 22re/manual

What do you guys think?

Eh…. It’s a very rust free body but man that is a gigantic long term project ….. or parts …. I’d venture to say and I don’t mean to be offensive but it’s worth it’s weight in scrap price . I’d be trying to make sure it went to a home that would actually finish it otherwise I wouldn’t care .

Front axle looks bent already due to that shitty truss that everyone runs

What's in the diffs? Assuming they are 4.10/open...

If you got it running and driving, maybe $4k tops. Nothing on that looks good to me but some kid would buy it to beat on.

As it sits, it's worth more to part it out. I wouldn't expect more than $2k to sell it as-is.

I sold a stock '85 in similar condition for $2000 with clean title. It was an '85 though, they bring more than a hacked up IFS model.

I paid $1200. Stole everything I wanted off of it.

Good question.

Its's been so long I honestly don't remember. I think that there is a lunchbox in the rear and the front is open.

I was going to put it up for 1300 and see if I can get 1200.

Day-am you fucks from Cali and the south are picky! Fuckers a 9/10 for here, get it running and you can probably get 7500 for it. Sell it to a state without smog so you can drop whatever engine in you want. :flipoff2:

I think that you are absolutely correct but I just don't want to mess with it and it takes up too much room.

Just want it gone. I have soooooo much Toyota stuff that needs to go. lol

I don’t blame the “clean house” attitude, I’ve been feeling that myself lately. I just find it strange that some of the posters here think it’s not worth anything when the first gen 4runner is one of the most desirable platforms Toyota has.

Hit my local Facebook Toyota group for $1300 @ 730 am today and I had 23 messages by 9

Had a guy with a trailer at my house @925 with cash. Didn't even try to talk me down because I mentioned that I had so much interest.

Should have asked for more. Just FYI for future searchers
