Am I Understanding this Adapter Correctly?

The way It looks to me is that it bolts to the transmission (NV4500 Dodge)

And allows you to bolt basically a SM465 bell housing to the adapter.


I'm collecting parts (aren't we all.)

And if this is the case I'll buy the trans I came across today and incorporate it into my build and do away with the 465 that's been in my rig forever.

I think it bolts to the bellhousing first.

Using a real external slave and or mechanical clutch linkage.

Using a longer than normal input shaft to make up the difference with the plate between the transmission and bellhousing ?


Not that anyone GAF about my opinion but using a GM style ball stud would be preferred.

Correct.

That works with a dodge v8 nv4500
It has the be a dodge because dodge input is longer and 1.125".
