What's new

Alex Jones

What's next, W Coyote as Trans Secretary? This is getting weird.

I think putting Jones in as press sec was a joke. He doesn't have the temperament for it and will blow up the first time he takes the mic.

Alina Habba for PS was being floated around yesterday on X. She's far better suited to the role than Jones and I'll be more than happy to tune in anytime she walks out.

One of my side gigs exists off of government inefficiency. I’m gonna need a new side gig.:lmao:

Ain’t care :usa:

He isn’t voluntarily shutting down. Its being mandated by the courts. Just like Jones was one of the first deplatformed and censored he was one of the first to have the justice system weaponized against him. So if your paying attention you should care.

Yep, if you didn't like him or his opinion, don't watch or listen but no, his opinions were ruled a threat to the public.

Check Trump's Twitter account, he's announcing all the actual picks in the same format via an image with his letterhead on it. Jones, Roseanne and a few others have come up as jokes from Trump's son but they're not real picks. Didn't realize Rubio was still speculation either for that matter, Trump hasn't actually picked him yet and hopefully wont.

I think that's 100% the point. :lmao:

Imagine the glorious shitshow the first time a reporter asks some bullshit biased question and he goes the fuck off on them!

The reporters will either stop fucking around, or go with such absurd questions AJ will stroke out on live TV. Either way it'd be entertaining as fuck!

Are you sure? I agree with you, (I don’t want him) but I thought it was done deal.

I don’t know why Trump is picking from congress at all. (Unless he wants them replaced) I suppose if he picks from a state that has a republican gov, they get replaced as a pub.

No bullshit she was actually really good at the job.
Yep, Treating the press with the contempt they deserve and being organized and methodical about it. Huckabee Sanders was pretty good at it too.

Way better than the circle back bride of Chucky or the cabbage patch DEI doll. :lmao:

Honestly, The next presidential candidate to say: "we are doing one press conference a month and will not be giving the President's opinion on any current events" should win in a landslide. People are way to focused on the office, way outsized to the president's actual power.

I meant I ain’t care about having to get a new side gig cause the guv might run better soon.

The satirical news publication The Onion won the bidding for Alex Jones' Infowars at a bankruptcy auction, backed by families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims whom Jones owes more than $1 billion in defamation judgments for calling the massacre a hoax, the families announced Thursday.
"The dissolution of Alex Jones’ assets and the death of Infowars is the justice we have long awaited and fought for,” Robbie Parker, whose daughter Emilie was killed in the 2012 shooting in Connecticut, said in a statement provided by his lawyers.
The sale price was not immediately disclosed.
Jones confirmed The Onion's acquisition of Infowars in a social media video Thursday and said he planned to file legal challenges to stop it. An email message seeking comment was sent to Infowars.
It was not immediately clear what The Onion planned to do with the conspiracy theory platform, including its website, social media accounts, studio in Austin, Texas, trademarks and video archive. The Chicago-based Onion did not immediately return emails seeking comment Thursday.
Sealed bids for the private auction were opened Wednesday. Both supporters and detractors of Jones had expressed interest in buying Infowars. The other bidders have not been disclosed.
The Onion, a satirical site that manages to persuade people to believe the absurd, bills itself as “the world’s leading news publication, offering highly acclaimed, universally revered coverage of breaking national, international, and local news events” and says it has 4.3 trillion daily readers.
Jones has been saying on his show that if his detractors bought Infowars, he would move his daily broadcasts and product sales to a new studio, websites and social media accounts that he has already set up. He also said that if his supporters won the bidding, he could stay on the Infowars platforms.
Relatives of many of the 20 children and six educators killed in the shooting Jones and his company for defamation and emotional distress for repeatedly saying on his show that the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, was a hoax staged by crisis actors to spur more gun control. Parents and children of many of the victims testified that they were traumatized by Jones’ conspiracies and threats by his followers.
The lawsuits were filed in Connecticut and Texas. Lawyers for the families in the Connecticut lawsuit said they worked with The Onion to try to acquire Infowars.

Lawfare in action. A billion dollar fine was absolutely ridiculous.

I like most of the people listed as possible appointees, but I have to wonder if MY PRESIDENT is just doing a massive troll job. Every single name is a gut punch to the libs. I love it and would like for a lot of them to be true. How could Dana White or Joe Rogan as Press Secretary be any worse than Peppermint Patty or the Toilet Brush? Circle back? No! How about a kick to the thigh?

There's a book called "no one died at sandy hook" its a paperback, it's real fucking hard to find. I had a pdf version on my phone I started reading on a flight, very well written and tons of citations. We definitely didn't get the truth on that one. They didn't just go after Jones, they went after the author of this book too. The book has gotten scarce, try finding a copy
