is midwest industries still the not shit affordable option? They're $100, but apparently backordered errrywhere.

I bought this China clone of the Midwest gen 1 mount. Seems pretty rugged and definitely clamps the rail tight enough.

I've had good luck with any of the chinkmo.coms, not ideal and some need a little work to fit correctly but the price is right.

it seems like they're waiting on product from overseas, or waiting to do a run.
Pretty much every variant is backordered on their own website, and I've not been able to find the one I want anywhere in stock.

It keeps within 1 MOA at 200 yards taking it off/reinstalling, for what I need it for that's fine. It seems to be pretty well made.

I bought my first AK about 2 years ago when WA went to a 10 day wait+ fee on all semi autos. Damn if I don't love it. There is a elegance to it's simplicity.
