I need some recommendations for not junk air chucks for my compressor and deflators gauges for the trucks / jeep.

I have used a couple harbor freight Merlin brand or whatever on the compressor but they seem to just live a short life.

And I have some ARB branded or whatever gauges that also lived a short life.

What’s working for you in the tire pressure world?

Tire-Rite Digital Inflator at Trail Hero last year. Chuck does a very good job at hands free holding.

Splurged on Prevost fittings/couplers for myself.

High flow fittings on all the tools/inflators/etc.

Push Button couplers are easy to use for connecting and disconnecting. Compressor/Wall fittings also bleed off the air in the hoses to limit the chance of the hose end whipping on disconnect.

These hold air when unplugged, some free flow...

I've had these onna 4 tire inflation setup I made since 2020 and hold great, still seal great.

Went through a couple harbor freight and amazon air chuck/gauge. Finally spent the money on the Milton and it's going strong 2 years later.

They have a "hook" that lets you cant them over a little on the valve stem and they'll lock on for hands free filling.

Only negative is they don't free flow so you can't use them with a valve core removed when trying to seat a bead. But they do make a version that does free flow.

Only other negative I've run into lately is they don't fit in to the tighter space on things like my forklifts. I need to find an alternative lower profile locking one for that.

^^ I love this thing on my air chuck.

I have a SnapOn that has not been replaced yet.

I've had 2 BluePoints replaced under warranty.

Air chucks can be made free flowing by grinding two opposing edges off of the sealing disc/ valve core detent. Orginal pictures from binder planet, edited by me.

You're greasing the inside of your tires?

I really like these PCL air chucks. Newest one i have is the mk4. Nice long air line, comes with a npt fitting on the end from the factory, so I can put a quick chuck on the end to swap out all the types I need. Locking chuck for regular tires, different chuck for the inner duals, etc. Works great.

I picked up these, I think someone here recommended them in the past. The hold on pretty well and are available in both free flow or not.
