What skid plates are you guys running? My Rock and Trail came with a factory full skid plate vs the regular partial that the regular XPs have. Well all the rocky rutted out hill climbs have finally worn thru the rear section under the trans.

I used a Tusk on my old 900s and it was ok but the side plates that wrap up around the side kinda sucks for mounting if you want tree kickers on it. Which I do. I do like the fact that the Tusk is mostly a one piece deal so there is less edges to catch on rocks and stumps when sliding over stuff. I am using BM Fabrication tree kickers and they are rock solid. They use the factory mounting holes in the rocker tubes though.

I'm gonna put the Tusk on my wifes Mav Trail, no idea if its good or not.

I had great luck with the Factory UTV model I had on my XP1000. For the new Kawasaki, everyone said to go with TrailArmor for that unit. I don't know if it will hold up as well as the Factory UTV did, but it was a clean install.
