Adira QH-6325 1989 Press brake

Need help please.

I have an adira QH-6325 1989 Press brake, we moved the machine from one side of the work shop to the other, during in moving it the press controller ended up being hit with the forklift. The machine turns on and the bed lifts up but doesn't come back down.
We have tried to fix this ourselves but seem to have got no where with it. I'm not sure if the piston has been damaged. Can anyone recommend a specialist that could come out to take a look? Location Lancashire England.

What was the extent of the damage to the controller?

if the controller got hit with the forklift, why are you working on the piston?
