Ad block everything. Your goal should be wiping out all visible ads. I have Pi-hole filtering and ublock origin, when I leave the house I wonder why I'm getting all these ads. It doesn't have to be this way but Youtube took it too far.

I don’t run a blocker but are you telling me if I run a blocker the mid video ads will stop altogether and I won’t have like 1 minute of silence in the middle of a video?

Gotta tell you that I’ve been doing that for some time as well. Reminds me, I need to cancel Netflix, I keep looking for something food to watch on there but never find anything and before I know it, I spent an hour searching for something. What really put me over though was when I was at a hotel and wanted to watch Netflix on my laptop. After going through a bunch of security shit, they allowed me “temporary” use of Netflix on my laptop. Fuck em.Minimum 80% of what I watch is on YouTube so I roll with YouTube premium.
