Accord exhaust

I bought a 2008 Accord coupe V6 with a loud aftermarket exhaust (Magnaflow catback). It's not super loud, but there is some annoying drone that appears sometimes. Would replacing the cylindrical muffler with a stock muffler quiet things down noticeably? Looking for a cheap/easy way to get rid of the drone and quiet things down a bit.

Cats are all up front, as far as I can see. Rockauto only offers the two rear mufflers and the single cylindrical muffler, so I think it's complete.

Just put a stock exhaust on it. The center resonator isn't gonna make up for the lack of an OEM type muffler. I doubt Magnaflow's resonator is significantly different than stock except for pipe size.

Put stock exhaust on it. Nothing ruins the sound of nice exhaust like the mushy notes during the shifting of an auto.

you could probably replace the resonator with a turbo muffler
look for a similarly sized round muffler with offset inlet/outlet, that'll likely not be a straight-through resonator

Borla used to supply a weld in baffle to people who complained about how loud the Borla exhaust was on a Range Rover. Seemed to work and make complainers go away. Looked something like this one I found on Amazon:
