About "takeovers"-- is the goal to get hit by the cars?

So, I'm in Vallejo for a few months and I kind of want to go to one of these.

How do I find one?

Am I going to get stabbed for being a white guy where I don't belong?
I'm sorry you are here. You gotta be on the right Instagram feed or whatever it's called. Or just go out on your porch on any night listening for it and drive there. There's a few common areas for them to start, so if you wanna message me then I'll let you know where the hot spots are.

Ok OK.........so this is what I am supposed to do with a Dodge SRT8!!! Now I get it.

Probably avoid that scene. Looks dangerous. Makes sand dunes on a bike over Memorial Day look sane.

Last time I made it out there. I got in trouble because they now require you to have flags:laughing: I cant imagine it has got any better

I guess you haven't been to Coos Bay or Winchester Bay on a holiday weekend. There's a reason for the curfew and drinking ban on the dunes.

Used to be Christmas valley was where you went if you didnt want to deal with all the cops and rules.....

It's not really that bad here. I'd definitely rather be up here than down in San Francisco.

I haven't got the instagram, or tik tok, or facebook or any of that stuff, so I'll have to try staying up late to see what I can hear.

I avoid them on those weekends. I do the Bronco gathering in August and then random weekends at Winchester. But I do not attend Dunefest or anything.
