Not sure if anyone remembers the gas block I machined for a Para TTR rifle for a old coworker. As payment for the gas block, my old coworker was going to finish building up a 9mm 1911 with a 6in tri-top slide. About a year ago I sent off a Remington R1 1911 frame, 6in 9mm barrel and a SS 6in tri-top slide to Ben at Heavy Armor Division. I was in no rush to receive the gun back since they had to earn a income at the business.

The Heavy Armor Division was started by 2 of the guys that used to build VIP guns at Para USA. Both do amazing work on 1911's and other types of guns.
