Toyota adjusters are torqued to 100+ ft lbs. My hi pinion had the adjusters torqued to 150 ft lbs.So once again this is my first Chrysler, paper sez side adjusters should be snug enough to hold the carrier in place, loose enough that it can be pried out. Toyota side adjuster have a keeper.
How tight? I will have the tool.
yep, that is what I am familiar with and a bolted on keeper for the side adjuster once you get it set.Toyota adjusters are torqued to 100+ ft lbs. My hi pinion had the adjusters torqued to 150 ft lbs.
Awesome, thank you.
This is what I did and it works fine as suggested and is cheap as hellMy days with heavily-arched leafs are over. Good luck.
I know what a PITA it is to pull a torsion bar, so I welded a couple big nuts to a chunk of 1/2" pipe instead.
