It seems we lost a ton of pics in this after the forum crash n burn thing years ago? I dunno but I'm redoing some pics...
had been daily driving this for 20 odd years up till now ish...
I lost the original post sooooo...
I got this thing as a parts chaser when i got the 67....
was bone stock...
needed a tranny when i got it and grenaded output bearing coming back from frisco...
new tranny is in the works (now here's where the addiction part comes in) why not put the double transfer case in?
At this point I really didn't think the snowball was forming so I did not take pics of the parts trucks yet...
Buy a Junker #2 yank the x fer case get an adapter and a new tranny. shit this is purty nice.
now i need lockers f/r.

Somewhere along the line I swapped to a v6 carrier rear and an fj hi pinion front...
Truck #3 is axle donor...
yank the new axles with arb's (read air posi) bolt it together after pulling it apart to see what i got, looks good.
wheel it like this fer a while... crap now i need low range gearing in the transfer case #2(again addict) buy truck #4 the blue one... new double transfer case's with 4.7:1 gearset, with 4.10:1 this goes to a final reduction of @ 173:1... 3 grand in low makes 1.5 mph.
My build thread was/is on the shovelhead.us site, but I never hauled it here.
